I was trying to figure how to edit the time-zone difference .. GOOSSHHH .. it suddenly was like a DejaVu ..

Me going to edit the time difference by 8hours and .. it’s so strange
I was trying to figure how to edit the time-zone difference .. GOOSSHHH .. it suddenly was like a DejaVu ..

Me going to edit the time difference by 8hours and .. it’s so strange
Grrhh .. I swear I’m gonna crash the moment I touch mattress. Up at this unhumanly hour, in the unhumanly Month .. .. BUT .. but I gotta blog this thought now or I m sure it will never be ..
Why enter the blogosphere?
1) When you know you are gonna market an event that is about blogging.
Really. That was a major reason that started it all! I knew abt blogs like 3 yrs ago but passed it off as nothing more than some girlie-gossipie online thingie. Not a guy thing!
Now .. it is abt playing catch-up .. so much has happened and so huge a potential I can see in blogs that it is physically impossible to stop my fingers from clicking that link!
2) Personal Development.
How else on palnet Earth are you ever gonna easily read the thoughts of top corporate leaders? In Singapore .. NO WAY .. in this part of the planet .. these people are usually better guarded than the Pentagon! U’ve gotta get pass the phone-operator .. the executive .. the manger .. the “whoever”s and finally the secretary ..
In the blogosphere, it is a place where u can get a no-holds-barred (kind of) insight into the thoughts of these people. And the best part .. it is real and real-time.
It was said that to be the best, learn from the best. And these thought-leaders are about the best. And .. and the best part is .. IT’S FREE ..
Not only you get to hear from them, u get to actually COMMUNICATE with them. Thru your comments, their comments and everyone else’s comments.
Some of the blogs I like to visit is Seth Godin, Bob Parsons, and Tom Peters. (Of I do read some gossipie junkie of Xiaxue and rest).
3) To keep up with technology
I do not claim to be an ultra mega technogeek .. but these couple of weeks, I did learn quite a bit. The most useful will definitely this RSS thingie. Fabulous stuff. Something that I had not been bothered about for more than a year since I heard abt it. ..
In a worse case, I am sure I’ll not be as out of touch as I was during the dotcom boom.
Also, a blog creates a very personal attachment. Thereby, arousing my interest to explore into a lot of peripherial techno stuffies .. many of which I would not have given a hoot.
It is like having a your own room. It all started with a bed and a wardrobe. Then .. u think of getting an Air-con .. then a radio .. then a TV .. Then, u go on to get all your less than functional decor items .. just to make it look “homely” .. same thing I feel abt blogs.. ..
These are just some a scratch on the surface .. a lot more reasons that I can see .. in fact more practical ones .. in fact I am not even sure if this post will still be around later in the day .. in fact I am not even too sure wat I’m typiing now .. in fact I think I betta go to sleep now ..
Eatonweb Blog Directory Portal ::
is more than a mere directory. In fact it has a rating system. There are features that I find cool are ::
Birthday Blogs
Blogs that were started sometime in history .. today
Random Weblogs
Something rather similar to Blogspot’s “Next Blog>>” Function
Rate Me
A script to add on your blog.
Unfortunately, I seemed to have some problem accessing my account. I’ve emailed the admin and will update.
Bloggernity.com
is blog directory.
The blogs submitted are checked by a human editor for suitability before being added to Bloggernity
A link back is also requested, but doesn’t seemed compulsary though.
Submitted kappocino
They will require you to insert a script into your blog. It takes up quite a bit of space though.

They’ve got 6400 users currently
They are working on some credit system where you get credits for referrals. There seemed to be a way of earning $$. But could quite find out yet how it works.
They also have the option to upgrade your free account.

2) You’ve gotta choose your category before you could submit a site.
